Hola!
So... I just thought about how last time I stayed with a family in Spain we were required to bring them a small gift. I know that CEA doesn't mention this in their information but, it might be a something to think about! I am planning on bringing an SIUE mug that I bought, and maybe something like postcards from my town or Chicago! It was a good way to start conversation with the family and they seemed to like it! I just thought I'd share the idea! :) Happy packing!

First information about our first days in Sevilla
Hi everybody,
Today, I had a conversation with Juan Ignacio De la Fuente (director de CEA - Sevilla) and he gave me an advance about some of the activities we will do in Spain.
Although this is still unofficial (and they are not all of them), I thought that you would like to know a few of the things that we will do:
Sunday 29: One day trip to Jerez de la Frontera and Conil. In Jerez we will visit one of the most important bodegas in Spain. You will be able to see how the best sherries, cognacs, and wines in the world are made.
Then we'll spend sometime at the beach in Conil. If you like tuna, this is one of the best places in the world to taste it.
Friday 3: One day trip to Ronda and Puerto Banús. Ronda is one of my favorite small cities in Spain, and then we'll go to the beach to Puerto Banús. The pictures below are Ronda, first, and Puerto Banús, second.
Sunday 5: We'll see a bullfight. I have to make a confession, it will be the first professional one for me too!

World record panoramic photo
As a follow up to Ashlee's post check this interactive picture of Sevilla. This is the largest panoramic photograph in the world. It's 111 Gigapixels! Regular digital cameras take pictures of around 10 megapixels! Here is the link:
